In 2023, marking 40th Anniversary from the establishment, we, Japan Malaysia LNG Co., Ltd. have always been involved in the delivery operations of Malaysia LNG (MLNG) Projects based in Bintulu LNG Plant of Sarawak, which are the projects by Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), Malaysian national oil company, ever since the first delivery of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Malaysia to Japan.
The project commenced by the delivery to Sodegaura LNG Terminal in February 1983: and, as of January 2023, has been expanded to the extent in which the delivery to as many as 30 receiving terminals in Japan are operated for the customers bound both by long-term and short-term contracts. Under the Service Agreement with MLNG, we have been engaged in our business as the service provider to render indispensible support to LNG seller and LNG vessel charterer.
We have been engaging in works to assist LNG delivery including but not limited to the development and coordination of the Annual Delivery Plan and the Specific Delivery Schedule for the next 45 days, daily management of the Ship Movement Information and Ship Shore Compatibility Activities through the cooperation with the vessel owner and Japanese marine service providers. All of the activities have always been conducted by one objective: the safe delivery to the receiving terminals.
We are and will always be committed to the public responsibility of LNG delivery. As the bridge between Japan receiving terminals and PETRONAS, we will carry out our mission for the safe and smooth delivery.
We would be grateful for your continued support and cooperation, as always have been rendered.
